Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)

Darrang College (Autonomous), established in 1945, is one of the premier institutions of higher education in Assam, offering a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes across various disciplines. From the academic session 2026–27, the college will also introduce four-year Integrated B.A.-B.Ed. and B.Sc.-B.Ed. programmes, subject to receiving the grant of recognition for the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) under Clause 7(13) of the NCTE Regulations, 2014.
The fee structure for these programmes will be determined in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Government of Assam and the Management Committee of Darrang College as Darrang College (Autonomous) is a public institution. The fees’ structure will be reviewed and revised Periodically as per government guidelines.
