Darrang College, the premier educational institution of North bank of Assam has been serving the people of Assam and Northeast India since 1945. It is strictly to excel in creating "Jewels among men". The College though started with Intermediate (H.S) and B.A and later became three faculty college offering Arts, Science and Commerce stream and also started Post Graduate program in recent years. At present, it has more than 150 faculty members and about 5000 students. The college is affiliated to the Gauhati University and has good results with toppers in both UG and PG program. College H.S toppers create a point of attraction for the college. College infrastructure and other facilities are student centric and has hostels for boys and girls.
